Daily Telegraph: TURNING UP THEIR HEAT

It’s got to be a first – clothing with heatadjusting thread. Aussie designer label INJURY has partnered with tech company, Knitwarm, on exactly that and will showcase the collection at Pandora Australian Fashion Week today.

“They’ve created a fabric that has heat conductive threads inside so if you plug that into a power bank, it has a remote control so you can control the temperature,” INJURY’s Eugene Leung told Confidential. “I have always been interested in technology and how that can influence design in fashion and how to combine these two things.”

INJURY is known for being “out there” and was founded by Leung and Dan Tse (pictured with model Lim Lee), who also uses multimedia and artist installations in shows, this year with singer May-a. “This show is about music, digi art, digital fashion and physical fashion,” Leung said.
